Systems Engineer
LiveWire's Mobile Music solutions are deployed in multiple operators around the world e.g 3UK and Sprint US. End subscribers purchase Full Track Music, Ringtones and Ringbacks using our system. The candidate will have to study, compile and analyze customer logs, CDRs, Data base query and other event data and come up with compelling reports that can be used by both operators as well as LiveWire Mobile to check how our service is doing. These would be heavily done by writing scripts using PERL/Unix shell/SQL programming languages and MySQL database queries. The reports are strategic in nature because they help us take the right corrective/preventive actions. Example: In customer deployment A, the report will contain vital information (perhaps on a weekly basis) such as number of total subs, number of active subs, no of sub added last week, type of music track being purchased etc.
The job involves initial onsite system study in USA for 4 weeks.

B.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech / B.C.A /M.C.A.

Demonstrable project experience in PERL programming and SQL programming

Database query/manipulation experience in database like MySQL.Experience in writing scripts for log parsing or CDR parsing

Knowledge of Unix Shell scripting & CRON jobs

Adaptability, quick learner and flexible

Dead-line and execution oriented, team player
